Our client is into financial services industry with transaction oriented business model. Due to time constraints, database and applications were not upgraded from prior versions. In addition, there are several complex customizations of RICE objects as well as work-flow applications. The management decided to upgrade application to 11.5.10 and upgrade database and other related application frame work.

Using our proprietary GAP analysis methodology, our team identified gaps between prior versions of Oracle. Initial training and orientation was provided to all business users while our technical teams reviewed code to identify gaps and need for custom objects. Based on the results from our data architecture review, we envisaged data conversion plan and converted data. Custom objects have also been reworked based on changes in the table structure and database upgrades. After three cycles of data and applications testing, the client organization went live with upgraded Oracle Applications.
