Our Client is a multibillion dollar conglomerate with operations in several countries. The organization creates hundreds of invoices every month and collects from its customers through various channels like EFT pay, checks, and wire transfers. Due to inefficiencies involved in managing transactions, our client decided to move to Oracle Applications and engaged us to implement Accounts Receivables, General ledger modules.

Based on our initial short review of client operations we realized that there are multiple charts of accounts, reporting requirements, and several banking systems. We started with mapping processes across different regions and refined the process steps for bringing consistency in operations. Later on we performed GAP analysis between Oracle Applications and existing systems and realized that some of the legacy systems had to be continued even after implementation of Oracle. We developed necessary RICE components for integrating legacy with Oracle Applications. Similarly, we converted data from existing accounting structure into standardized segments across all regions for better reporting.
